GROUP COUNSELLING – targeting specific problems

Relationships aren't automatic and in fact require personal sacrifice and compromise in order to make them work, and group counselling provides a supportive connection to assist individuals, couples, and families in developing healthy relationships through effective life skills.

Group Counseling involves meeting with a group of individuals and working towards understanding and resolving personal concerns in the group, and can sometimes focus on a specific topic that is of particular relevance.

Men sometimes face a different set of problems to women, while teenagers face their own unique challenges, so group counselling is vital in order to address the right group with the right information, and in this way there is no judgment or criticism received from other group members because they can't understand what you are struggling with.

Most people are surprised to discover with group counselling that they aren't alone in the type of problems they face, and discussing these with others who are struggling with the same problems can bring out relief from isolation and offer support for one another. Hearing someone else talk about a situation that sounds close to your own eases the burden.

When there is no counsel, the people fail; but in the multitude of counselors, there is safety -Proverbs 11:14.
